Interactive story games have captivated audiences with their engaging narratives and choice-driven gameplay. In the United States, during the fourth quarter of 2020, the performance of the top titles in this genre exhibited some interesting trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Choices: Stories You Play by Pixelberry Studios saw its revenue rise towards the end of the quarter, finishing with a peak of nearly $1M in the last week of December. Downloads also saw an increase, with a significant jump to roughly 44K in the final week. However, weekly active users displayed a more stable curve, ending the quarter with around 421K users.

Episode - Choose Your Story from Episode Interactive had a notable revenue spike in the last week of December, reaching over $1M. The game's downloads reached their zenith in early November with over 161K before climbing to approximately 190K by year's end. The weekly active users experienced a dip in mid-November but rebounded to over 561K in the final week.

For Chapters: Interactive Stories by Crazy Maple Studio, Inc., revenue fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at around $711K.
